Philip Halliday of Halliday Funeral Supplies has been elected National President of the FFMA for the next twelve months.
He succeeds Bob Tomes of Colourful Coffins who has held the post for the past two years.
Philip says “I see huge concerns over the procurement of raw materials post covid, together with global supply chains re-setting themselves and increased environmental awareness from consumers over sustainability and a reluctance to accept greenwashing by businesses as two major issues to address in my year.”
Bob installed Philip into the post at the Association’s Annual Dinner held on 18th November. An evening at which members and guests raised £780 for Bob’s chosen charity Child Funeral Charity.
