Product Description:
Hand woven willow and bulrush coffin in a teardrop shape with bulrush weaved into the side walls. Manufactured in China utilising a double ply board base, a ply wooden internal frame and rope handles with no metallic parts.
Unique Product Features:
The lid has a plaited willow edge detail and is securely fastened by toggles. Our coffins have been successfully tested for weight bearing, using the natural rope and seagrass handles, up to 150kg. There is an integrated base of solid plywood with a plywood internal frame, with recessed fastenings, making them secure and equally suitable for burial or cremation. All our coffins have natural, unbleached calico linings and all fastenings are of natural materials – making them 100% biodegradable.
