We encourage a celebratory approach to funerals and are committed to personal service in the making of ecological shrouds and 'soft' coffins for burial and cremation. We think outside the box. Everything is hand-made and we source as much as we can, as locally as we can, thereby cutting the impact of shipping. We use a combination of local/reclaimed wood, local wool, hemp and recycled textiles.

Inspired by my Norwegian roots, the Oseberg Cradle moves away from the convention of a box, offering a safe, strong cradle with thick, multilayered cocoon of pure English wool felt, which masks the shape of the body. No plastics and no metal.

Unique Product Features:

Hand made cradle of 2" reclaimed timber (base) with slatted sides. Strong hemp and wood carrying handles covered in felt for a soft touch. Multilayered felt tailored cocoon enshrouding the body.
